Law clerks are law school graduates who assist one or more justices with research and writing responsibilities. The Supreme Judicial Court and the Appeals Court hire law clerks for a specified period of time and each court has its own application process.

Supreme Judicial Court
The Supreme Judicial Court will begin accepting applications for law clerk positions on June 1, 2015, for the court term that begins on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, and ends on Tuesday, August 29, 2017.
